From Valley Terminal and Friday Flat, fast 4-person chairlifts travel up to the ski resort of Thredbo. The Merritts Gondola links Valley Terminal to the Cruiser area via a middle station. The Cruiser area is also connected by a fast 4-person chairlift. Friday Flat in the valley is accessed by a 4-person chairlift and several moving carpets. In the upper areas of Central Spur and The Basin, tow lifts transport winter sports enthusiasts on the mountain. A tow lift runs all the way to the summit at 2,037 metres, the highest point in Australia accessible from a ski lift.
