The small but charming ski lift in Bunggerloch in Tarrenz was a cherished winter sports area for locals, families, and training teams for many years. As a compact ski area, it offered ideal conditions for technical training as well as for children and beginners taking their first steps in skiing orThe small but charming ski lift in Bunggerloch in Tarrenz was a cherished winter sports area for locals, families, and training teams for many years. As a compact ski area, it offered ideal conditions for technical training as well as for children and beginners taking their first steps in skiing or snowboarding. Thanks to complete snowmaking capabilities, the Bunggerloch ski area could provide reliable training conditions even in winters with little natural snow. An additional Sunkid conveyor belt made it easier for young winter sports enthusiasts to get up the slope, ensuring a simple and safe introduction to the sport.

In 2025, the lift was permanently closed after the municipality announced that further operation was no longer possible due to rising costs, technical challenges, and increasingly uncertain snow conditions.

This marked the end of a village lift that, for decades, had offered many children, clubs, and amateur athletes reliable and personal conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
