The slope preparation is excellent.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Detailed description of the ski resort
From the village you can take two quads up to the mountain. The high speed quad Sundance Express takes you up to the Sundance Ridge (1730m). From here you have one expert run (Peak-A-Poo), some intermediate runs and two easy runs (Homesteader, Rambler) down to the village, or you can take the Mt. Morrisey Connector to the high speed quad Mt. Morrisey Express, but let your skis or boards run on this slope because it is very flat at the end. If you take the high speed quad with bubbles Sunburst Express you reach the Sunburst Lodge (1855m) and now you can ski or ride on easy runs to the triple chair Crystal. From the top of this chair you can ski or ride the Crystal Bowl and you can swing down on intermediate runs to the valley or to the base of the slow quad Burfield. This lift takes you nearly 3 kilometer up to the "Top Of The World", the highest point in the resort (2080m). The riding time on this lift is approx. 25 minutes! From here you can reach nearly every point (exept. Mt. Morrisey) at Sun Peaks Resort and you can go the the West Bowl T-bar, too. This old and slow t-bar is only open on Fridays, Weekends, Holidays and if it is good weather. From Sun Peaks you can take the platter lift Mt. Morrisey to go the high speed quad Mt. Morrisey Express. At this mountain you have a lot of runs, from very easy to advanced and you can ski between the trees. To go back to Tod Mountain or Sundance you can ski down the Back in time, cross the street and take the Burfield quad, or you can cross a bridge in the village und you are at the Sunburst and Sundance lifts again. In the Village there is a platter, called the Village Platter and a magic carpet, especially for beginners. After a nice ski-day you can go in one of the nice bars or restaurants and join a glass of beer in the village, or relax in an outdoor hot tub...
