The less hectic pace makes the ski resort of Rosskopf very suitable for families with children. At the mountain station, there is a lovely children's area with a covered moving carpet. There is also another moving carpet for practising. The ski school offers ski lessons and private lessons for all levels of ability.

Most of the slopes are wide and perfectly prepared, making them suitable for the whole family. The resort is also home to the longest floodlit toboggan run with snow-making capabilities in South Tyrol and Italy, leading from the Rosskopf down to Sterzing. The Rosskopf Outdoor Center at the base station and on the mountain is an ideal rental outlet for ski, toboggan and sports equipment.

Kinder Yogurt Land

The Kinder Yogurt Land is located right next to the mountain station of the gondola lift and is operated by Sterzing ski school. It has a covered moving carpet and fun characters. Children can learn to ski in a stress-free, peaceful setting here. The ski school also has highly trained ski instructors.

Rosskopf toboggan run

The longest toboggan run in Italy! It is an absolute highlight on Sterzing’s local mountain. Extending over 10 kilometres, the toboggan run on the Rosskopf is the longest floodlit toboggan run with snow-making capabilities in South Tyrol and Italy. The Rosskopf gondola lift takes you quickly up to the start. It begins right next to the mountain station. As well as normal operation, the toboggan run is also open until midnight once a week for night tobogganing. Check which days apply. Toboggans can be hired.
