Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Belpiano (Schöneben)/​Malga San Valentino (Haideralm)

Use of the public ski buses between Nauders, Resia (Reschen) and Malga San Valentino (Haideralm) is encouraged. Skiing in forests is prohibited and these areas are fenced off. The restaurants use local produce and the ski resort usually opens in the middle of December once there is sufficient snow (although it would be possible to open far earlier).

• No direct train connection
  Malles (Mals) train station (15 kilometres away, with the Val Venosta train (Vinschger Bahn) from Bolzano (Bozen) via Merano (Meran) to Malles (Mals))
• Comprehensive ski bus network
• Scheduled buses
• Continuous free ski bus connections provided by the village bus and regional ski bus (Postbus) between Curon (Graun), San Valentino (St. Valentin), Resia (Reschen) and Nauders.
