The entire ski resort is connected to the public sewage system. The resort sorts rubbish comprehensively for disposal. Gentle tourism is a priority in the Defereggental Valley. The lifts are energy efficient and ski buses are promoted.

  By train, you travel via Bozen – Brixen – Sillian – Lienz or Spittal to Lienz – then take the post bus.

• Ski buses run in the Defereggental Valley from Huben, Hopfgarten, St. Veit, Bruggen, Feistritz, Staller Sattel, Erlsbach, Maria Hilf and St. Jakob to the Brunnalmbahn lift. They are free of charge with a valid visitors’ card. In East Tyrol, many ski buses also run from Lienz and Matrei.
