Environmental friendliness of the ski resort St. Anton/St. Christoph/Stuben/Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken – Ski Arlberg

There are many flora and fauna conservation areas in the Ski Arlberg ski resort. RespekTiere deine Grenzen (respect your borders) is the motto in the ski resort. There is information on the trail map about which areas are restricted for skiing. Access to the resort by public transportation is very good thanks to the train connection in St. Anton am Arlberg. The modern ski lifts are energy efficient. A solar power facility was installed at the mountain station of the Kriegerhorn lift in Lech already back in 2002. The resort ensures the eco-friendly construction of slopes and snow-making facilities. The ski buses throughout the entire Arlberg area are eco-highlights of the ski resort.

Public transportation/on-site mobility

  • Train connection
The St. Anton am Arlberg train station is only a five minute walk from the Galzig lift and the Rendl lift. The Langen am Arlberg train station is also an option. From there, scheduled buses and taxis take guests to Lech and Zürs. Warth and Schröcken are not as easily accessed by train.
  • Comprehensive ski bus network
  • Scheduled buses
  • It is recommended that guests leave their cars outside the town and use the public transportation. St. Anton and the individual villages are optimally connected by ski bus. The village bus circulates between Warth, Hochkrumbach and Schröcken. All parts of Lech and Zürs are also connected by ski bus.
