Snowbird caters very well for families. A lovely practice area with a moving carpet and other practice areas are available. The ski school offers a wide selection of lessons for children. Childcare is also available for non-skiing children. In the lower area of Snowbird, there are lots of easy slopes accessed from 2-person chairlifts. The restaurants serve dishes for children.

Chickadee Bowl practice area
The practice area with a moving carpet is located near the Snowbird Center (Chickadee Bowl). The Snowbird Mountain School offers lessons here for children from 3 years of age.
Childcare: Superior Child Care
The bright and friendly childcare facility is located in the Cliff Lodge. It provides care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Reservation is required.
