Snowbird is a paradise for experts and freeriders. The ski resort has a reputation for its excellent snow quality and has very high volumes of fresh snow. It regularly offers great skiing in powder snow.

Lots of challenges can be found within the ski resort boundaries: steep groomed and ungroomed slopes, mogul slopes, powder slopes, tree skiing, steep bowls and cliffs. The powder slopes within the ski resort boundaries are monitored and you can virtually ski everything.

• very many freeride/deep snow areas
• many mogul slopes
• many extremely difficult, steep and unprepared runs (Double Diamonds)

General note: Always mind the avalanche warnings and barriers, please. Never ski into a closed and unsecured area.
