The slope preparation is very good.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Detailed description of the ski resort
From the village you can take the double chairs, The Village Lift or special for kids, the Mogul Mouse´s Magic Lift to the Morse Mtn. These easy runs and the two tows in the valley are especially reserved for kids and beginners. Sometimes you can meet Mogul Mouse on the slopes. From Morse Mtn you can ski down on a very easy run to the Madonna & Sterling Base Lodge. Here you will find more parking lots for those people who want to start the day at the upper mountains. From here you can take the double chair Madonna 1 Summit to the top of Madonna Mtn. At the top you have a very nice view around Vermont. The slopes downhill are steep and challenging for advanced skiers. The double chair Madonna 2 takes you nearly to the top. From this lift you can ski intermediate trails back to the Base Lodge. Another double chair, the Sterling Summit, takes you to the Sterling Mtn. From the Sterling Mtn you can ski advanced and intermediate runs down to the Base Lodge. Here you will find a T-bar with race course, too...
