The ski resort is located in one of the oldest national parks in the world. The Bogd chaan uul mountains were put under protection already in 1178. For this reason, the Sky Resort was not permitted to cut down any tress during construction of the resort. There is a free ski bus that circulates regularly (even during the evening) from the city centre.

The nearest train station, Ulaanbaatar, is about 12 km away. It lies on the train line from Moscow to Peking. - Ski buses

- Shuttle buses circulate throughout the day from Ulaanbaatar to the ski resort.
