New and very attractive slope in Brixen im Thale

A completely new and very attractive slope with snow-making capabilities has been added in SkiWelt Brixin: The new slope leads from the Holzalm at 1440 m over a length of 1.2 km to the Gasthof Nieding (1215 m) where it merges with the valley run. The Brixen slope offering has thereby been enhanced with this scenic and sporty "red" slope.


New parking garage in Hopfgarten

A large investment in comfort: SkiWelt Hofpgarten has built a parking garage with 500 parking spaces right next to the base station of the gondola lift. A modern ski depot has also been built in the lift station. Total investment: approx. 8.1 million Euro!

A modern, deluxe ski depot with lockers and boot dryers (fee required) has been built in the Hopfgarten base station.


Hut expansions and improvements

The Panoramarestaurant Bergkaiser in Ellmau has been expanded to include a wait-staffed restaurant with 200 seats. Also, the sun terrace at Berggasthof Brandstadl in Scheffau has been generously expanded.

Serviced family ski depot with test center, toboggan rental & chill-out area

A serviced family ski deport with a Salomon Test Center and toboggan rental shop has been added at the the middle station in Hochsöll. There is also a chill-out area, which welcomes you to relax with chill-out beats and lounge chairs.


New features in SkiWelt Söll

Service improvements are a priority at SkiWelt Söll: The Hexen children's area, the unique adventure park for the little ones near the base station, has been expanded to include a tow lift and additional experiences. By the way, the Hexenland can be used for free! Söll has also improved its offering for its adult guests. A family ski depot including a test center and toboggan rental shop has been built at the Hochsöll middlet station. All ski enthusiasts will appreciate the new Salomon Test Center where the most current models made by the leading ski producer are available for testing: including carvers, rockers, freeriders and racing models. The new chill-out area at the test center welcomes guests to relax in lounge chairs while enjoying chill-out music.

Fun slopes in the SkiWelt Söll

3 fun slopes covering 5 hectares and including over 40 kickers and rails. A fun slope for beginners is located on the Salvenmoos slope and a beginner and medium line are found along the Rinner run.

New SkiWelt FAMILY PASS

One ski pass that is transferable between 2 parents.
The SkiWelt proves itself as really family-friendly with its new 6-day ski pass, which is transferable between parents. Children up to 5 years ski for free at SkiWelt! Please also note our amazingly well-priced family season passes and year-round tickets. For example: the "half" family season pass: purchase 1 adult (father or mother) and 1 child (oldest child or youth) season pass and the other children in the family get a season pass for free.


New Moon toboggan run in Söll

Moon toboggan run is floodlit for tobogganers and open only at night
from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. From the Hochsöll gondola lift, it leads from the Stöcklalm to the base station with a length of 3.5 km – easy level with permanent snow-making and floodlights.


Free WLAN in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental

The SkiWelt remains true to its trend-setting role regarding innovation with another attraction this winter at the Eibergtreff in Scheffau, where you can enjoy the sunshine and the 360° panorama view of over 70 peaks above 3000 metres while relaxing in the cozy lounge chairs. With the free WI-FI, you can inform yourself about current lift and slope statuses, check on the amount of elevation metres you have skied on Skiline, quickly send friends and family a photo of your ski day or post it to the SkiWelt Facebook page. The Bergkaiser Panorama Restaurant in Ellmau and the Choralpe also offer free WLAN to all SkiWelt skiers - all while enjoying a breath-taking view of the mountains.

On the south-facing slope in Scheffau – with applause for each run and a ski video as a memento. In addition to the usual SKILINE, where you can see your individual elevation difference skied (by entering your ski pass number), now you can also download your personal ski video for analyzing your carving skills or the skills of your friends or acquaintances.


ALPENIGLU® -Igloo Village at Hochbrixen

The success story continues: A fairytale world of ice and snow, an adventure park in the wintry world of the SkiWelt – This is the ALPENIGLU® Igloo Village, and it’s set to charm visitors to the SkiWelt Wider Kaiser – Brixental again in the coming season. The white village is located at the Hochbrixen mountain station.
Igloo hotel, restaurant, bar, ice exhibition, sun lounge – ALPENIGLU® Igloo Village is an exciting world with many facets. Taking centre stage, of course, is the stuff that winter dreams are made of: ice! Enjoy a fondue on the crystal clear ice table, stay overnight in the igloo suite and sip cool drinks from ice glasses: it’s all about ice and snow.
