Environmental friendliness/environmental protection Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Test result4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

The resort places great emphasis on environmental protection. For example, solar power is used in many of the restaurants. The village of Serfaus is a traffic-calming area and access is via the Dorfbahn underground railway. The lift company’s catering operations have a long-standing and extensive cooperation with local farmers. For example, all beef cattle and all cheese, yoghurt, etc. produced in the mountain pastures are purchased and served in the restaurants and huts in the ski resort. A perfect example of a regional approach.
