The mountains around the winter sports resort of Zwiesel offer the best possible conditions for alpine skiing: the Arber ski area is only a few kilometres away. Between Christmas and the beginning of March, a ski bus (free of charge for guests staying in Zwiesel) connects the town with this snow sure region 4 times a day.
