Free ski buses are promoted in the Val di Sole and it is easy to get to Passo del Tonale from the villages. Ski buses also run in Ponte di Legno and Temù. During the summer months, the glacier is covered. In winter, the resort uses artificial snow on the glacier to protect the ice. The resort uses lots of products from the regional area.
