Beginners will find ideal terrain in Passo Tonale. Modern chairlifts, practice lifts, and moving carpets provide access to many easy slopes along the pass road. The Presena Glacier has limited options for beginners as there is just one easy slope up there. In Ponte di Legno and Temù, the slopes are not suitable for beginners, but the runs in Passo Tonale are ideal. There is also a practice area with moving carpets at the base stations in Ponte di Legno and Temù.
