The slope preparation is excellent.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Detailed description of the ski resort
Small and smooth is the ski resort Naspa Ski Garden, located upside of Echigo Yuzawa. The nice groomed runs and the runs of all levels of difficulty make this resort a resort for everybody. With the high speed quad Chair 3 you can reach the peak- With the triple chair and in connection with the double chair on the right side of the area you reach the highest lifted point at an elevation of 690m. Now you can ski down the advanced run C along the double chair or you can cross via a flat way to the top station of the high speed quad from the valley. On the left side of the area is the double chair and in connection another high speed quad up to the peak. An advanced mogul run, two intermediate runs thereunder the nice run E and an easy run lead down from the peak. Erstwhile there was another double chair, called Chair 6 up on another mountain but this lift is closed. The lower chair lifts are especially for children and beginner. For a break you can choose between the nice Garden Resthouse at the mid station and at the base station the Naspa New Otani Hotel with some restaurants. The hotel, which is the best one in the region, offers their guests a direct access to the slopes. Also if the ski resort is really small it is worth to visit it. During weekends Naspa Ski Garden is open until 7 p.m. for night skiing.
