Town/village at the ski resort: Flattach
"100 percent sun, snow and skiing enjoyment" - this formula for success on the Moelltal Glacier and the Ankogel is as simple as can be. The 3,120 metre high "Moelli" is one of Austria's most snow reliable glaciers and the southern side of the Alps has been "statistically proven" as the sunniest region in Austria. Since October 2011, the Moelltal Glacier shines with 71 km of slopes, which is 40 percent more than before. The new quad chairlift on the Alteck provides access to three challenging slopes: a "black" for true snow freaks and two "reds" for experienced slope speedsters. Families can enjoy themselves on approx. 50 km of easy to intermediate slopes and will especially appreciate the special offers for families: children up to 6 years old ski for free and there is a 50% discount for children and teens up to 18 years old. Multi-day passes are automatically Ski Hit ski passes, which are valid for the 106 km of slopes on the Moelltal Glacier and Ankogel as well as throughout all of Eastern Tyrol.
