Different gondola lifts lead up to the ski resort from the villages of Megève and Saint Gervais. There are mainly chairlifts and pommel lifts up in the ski resort itself. Some of the older lifts have already been replaced with high speed chairlifts, but you must still ride on some old and long pommel lifts in order to explore the entire resort. In Megève, you can travel from one lift to another by horse drawn carriage.
