Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Megève/​Saint-Gervais

They place a high value on environmental protection in Megève. There are many buses and horse drawn carriages used in the village - forms of ECO transportation. Unfortunately, they still use disposable plates at some of the huts in the ski resort.

• Train connection
  From the Saint-Gervais-les-Bains/Le Fayet station, it's only 10 minutes by bus to the Saint-Gervais-Bettex gondola lift. There is a good train connection to the TGV line to Paris and Lille. It's also easy to get to Saint-Gervais by train from Geneva.

• In addition to ski buses, horse drawn carriages are used to transport guests.
