Après-ski Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel – Kaprun

The Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Kaprun offer a very good selection of venues for après-ski. The ICE CAMP on the Kitzsteinhorn has a relaxed atmosphere with an igloo and large sun terrace. You can party at the Alpincenter and the Langwiedboden before taking the 3K K-onnection to the Maiskogel. On the Maiskogel, there is the Eisbär après-ski-bar at the valley run and the Baumbar and Maisi Alm at the base station in Kaprun. And if you still have enough energy, you can then party the night away in Kaprun. There is also the kitz900m at the base station of the glacier lifts.

Après-ski tip

ICE CAMP

At slope 1 between Central Park and Easy Park

You can relax and enjoy chilled sounds on the sun terrace of the ICE CAMP. There is also a bar and music in the igloo. It took 60 tonnes of ice and 2,500 cubic metres to build the ICE CAMP.

Baumbar

At the base station of the MK Maiskogelbahn lift

Après-ski is very lively in the Baumbar. The Après-Ski-Arena Baumbar invites visitors to party and dance after an action-packed day on the Kitzsteinhorn. A good atmosphere is guaranteed here. The most modern dispensing equipment in Europe ensures drinks are served quickly and freshly, even at very busy periods.

Häuslalm Schirmbar

At the Langwiedboden at 2,000 metres

Before you take the cable car back down (to the Maiskogel or the valley), you can stop off in the Häuslalm umbrella bar and enjoy the fun atmosphere and typical music. Everyone needs to pass by this point on the way to the valley.

Maisi Alm

At the base station right beside the Kaprun Center and the MK Maiskogelbahn lift

The Maisi Alm is a popular meeting place for après-ski in Kaprun.

Parasol Schirmbar

Beside the Alpincenter at 2,450 metres

Good atmosphere and great music before the last valley run. The Parasol umbrella bar is right in the middle of the large south-facing terrace outside the Alpincenter.

Eisbär Après-Ski-Bar

Right beside the valley run to Kaprun

You can enjoy après-ski on the cosy terrace here and party at the Eisbär bar.

Everyone needs to pass this point on the way from the base station to the bus or car park. Après-ski in the most literal sense - no one has to put their skis on again!
