A very modern 8-person gondola lift (new since the 2011/2012 season) begins at the base in Lofer and functions as a feeder lift to the ski resort. From the mountain station, you continue up with a 6-person gondola lift to the Loferer Alm. As of the 2012/2013 season, a new 8-person chairlift leads up to the Schwarzeck. As the world's first child safety 8-person chair lift with bubbles, seat heaters and foot rests, the new lift to the peak will always be something special. It also provides access to additional kilometres of slopes. The modern 6-person Family Express with weather protectors and seat heaters is right next door. Another fixed-grip chairlift, t-bar lifts as well as practice lifts also transport guests. The beginners will enjoy the 140 m long covered magic carpet at the mountain station.
