Gastronomy/Eating at the ski resort Les Sybelles – Le Corbier/​La Toussuire/​Les Bottières/​St Colomban des Villards/​St Sorlin/​St Jean d’Arves

The restaurants, which are almost all located in spots with great views or within High Alpine scenery, are all not too large and are not too cluttered. A bit of wood, a few old photos and a fireplace make for a nice ambiance and give a genuine effect. Respectively, unfussy, regional dishes are served, of course heavy dishes with plenty of cheese - you are in the Savoy Region after all. This is also noticeable in the typical desserts. There aren't too many mountain restaurants or huts though. This is because there are many restaurants right at the slopes in the ski villages themselves at which you can sit on sun terraces with less wind and higher temperatures than up on the mountain. This makes the low-lying restaurants very popular. There are very many restaurants especially at the Le Corbier and Saint Sorlin base stations ranging from self-service to higher quality cuisine.

La Fontaine de l’Ours

At the foot of the slopes in Le Corbier, across from the Tourism Office

Freshly renovated restaurant with rustic charm in the Galerie Charvin of Le Corbier. You can reach it from the apartments without getting your feet wet via the endless hallways of the station. Large selection of specialties and wines, friendly service.

La Petite Ferme

Near the practice area in Saint Sorlin d‘Arves

The interior offers a grounded elegance, the cuisine is ambitious, the seafood risotto is a feast for the eyes. In addition to seafood dishes, interesting interpretations of international classics are served, i.e. salmon hamburger. Steaks and salads as well as ice cream are other specialties.

On the Piste Crêtes above La Toussuire

Other than the typical and very delicious Savoyard cuisine and a roaring fireplace, there is also coffee and hot chocolate in many delicious varieties. Very friendly staff.

Le Saint S‘O

At the base station of the 3 Lacs chairlift

Located in the middle of the ski resort and good for a quick espresso as well as for an extensive lunch with wine. You can dine in the sun on the scenic terrace and otherwise indoors by the fire (seating for 49).
