The winter sports village of La Mongie 1800 m is located right at the slopes and offers many accommodations. It belongs to the community of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. The accommodations range from simple to intermediate standard (primarily studios/apartments and hotels). Additional accommodations are found in the spa village of Barèges 1250 m, which is famous for its thermal springs with healing powers. A funicular used to be in operation in Barèges, but you must now access the ski resort in Tournaboup 1450 m, which is 3.5 km away. A slope does lead down to Barèges, however.

There are many accommodations with direct access to the slopes and to lifts (Ski-in/Ski-out)
