Klingenthal is a special destination for the fans of winter sports. Every winter, there is a lot of snow in Klingenthal and in its surrounding area and that is why the possibilities to do winter sports are outrageous ones. More than 100 km of cross-country ski-tracks invite visitors and locals to do cross-country skiing through the snow covered forest. The Kammloipe , a cross-country ski-track became famous as being the freeway of the forest.
