Throughout the ski resort, cozy huts await skiers. You can find everything from self-service to gourmet restaurants. There are many inviting sun terraces to relax on as well. You may even run into celebrities at some of the exclusive huts such as the Berggasthof Sonnbühel or the Toni Alm.

On the Hahnenkamm at 1650 m
With its excellent gastronomy and a uniquely designed atmosphere with great attention to detail, the Berggasthof Sonnbühel is also well-known among celebrities. Ivan Marzola has been running the Berggasthof since the 2016/2017 season according to the role model of the family's Comici-Hütte in Val Gardena in South Tyrol. The specialties: freshly caught fish and seafood including grilled lobster, wines from Grado and ingredients from their own farm. Steaks and Kaiserschmarrn round off the offering. The large sun terrace with live music offers a view of the Kitzbühl ski resort. It is a good idea to make a reservation.
Directly at the mountain station of the Hahnenkamm lift at 1662 m
The Restaurant Hochkitzbühel bei Tomschy offers very good food, cozy dining rooms and a beautiful view from the Kitzbüheler Horn all the way to the Hohen Tauern Mountains. Every Friday night, the Restaurant Hochkitzbühel is open until 11:00 PM. You can take the gondola back down to the base.
At the base station of the Hartkaser lift at 1750 m
The Sonnalm features a self-service restaurant and a large sun terrace with full service. Full service is also provided in the cozy dining room with a ceramic oven. No wish is left unanswered here.
On the Kaser valley run (previous middle station of the Maierl lifts) at 1225 m elevation
The Maierl-Alm offers excellent cuisine. Everything from Tyrolean specialties to international dishes is served. When the weather is nice, the sun terrace is inviting. Fine wines and Augustiner beer from the keg round off the offering.
At the Bärenbadkogel at 1883 m
Cozy ski hut with Tyrolean ambiance and a lovely view of the Zweitausender. Large sun terrace and cultivated menus and drinks. They place a high value on quality (for example, the beef comes from their own Angus breeding operation, "Jochberger Angus").
On the famous Streif at 1200 m
The idea for an Alpine Worldcup Race was born at the Seidlalm in 1966. Since renovations were completed in 2016, the Seidlalm once again shines in new splendor. Verena, Christina and Isabella spoil guests with Tyrolean delicacies in the cozy dining rooms or on the sun terrace. The view of the Wilder Kaiser is unique.
Beneath the mountain station of the 6-person Resterhöhe chairlift - hidden behind a hill with its own access by slope (No. 70) at 1796 m.
The Berggasthaus Resterhöhe is not only the oldest managed ski hut in the ski resort, but it is also traditional and authentic. High quality cuisine is served and freshly prepared using regional products. The homemade apple strudel should not be missed. You will feel very comfortable in the rustic and cozy dining room. The sun terrace is inviting when the weather is nice.
At the mountain station of the Hartkaser lift at 1950 m
The view from the sun terrace is something very special and unique. The rustic mountain hut with its nice dining room and good food lures guests from throughout the ski resort. The bar on the sun terrace is a popular meeting point.
On the Breitmoos run (Pass Thurn)
Rustic ski hut at the Kitzbüheler Panorama lift at 1500 m. In the exclusive Alm Lounge, an open fireplace and a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains awaits you. You may also meet someone famous here.
Beneath the Wurzhöhe at 1530 m
Rustic hut with open fireplace and cozy dining room. When the weather is nice, the large sun terrace invites with a pretty mountain view.
At the Trattenbach lift at 1636 m
The Trattenbachalm offers a cozy dining room and a sun terrace. Authentic and traditional Tyrolean meals are served here.
At the Talsen quad chairlift at 1365 m
The Bruggeralm is a cozy hut with a warm ceramic oven, specialties such as Kaiserschmarrn, Tiroler Gröstl, Bretteljause, Wiener Schnitzel, and smoked trout or trout "Müllerinnen Art" are served. Don't forget to try the homemade goat cheese and homemade bread.
On the Hahnenkamm at 1620 m
On the sunny slope of the Ehrenbachhöhe, the slopes pass directly in front of the alpine restaurant. They have down-to-earth food and a beautiful panoramic view.
At the start of the Gaisberg run
Cozy and typical Tyrolean hut with open fireplace and Tyrolean specialties. Very recommendable for night skiing or night tobogganing.
