The ski lifts in the Kitzbühel ski resort have been modernized in the past few years so that guests will find state-of-the-art lifts almost exclusively throughout the resort and many lifts feature weather protectors and seat heaters. As of the 2015/2016 season, the 8-person Brunn chairlift with premium chairs with leather seats and seat heaters is available. The 10-person Wagstätt gondola with a middle station and seat heaters was opened in the 2013/2014 season. Since the 2012/2013 season, the 8-person Zweitausender and the 6-person Walde chairlifts have been in operation. Since the 2011/2012 season, a modern 6-person chairlift takes guests from Pass Thurn up to the Resterhöhe. The Kirchberg side of the resort has been optimally accessible since the 2010/2011 season thanks to the 10-person Maierl gondola and the 8-person Ochsalm chairlift. The Fleckalm lift is on the list for modernization in the future. There are also people movers distributed throughout the resort.
