Killington, the largest resort in Vermont has many attractions. If you start your day at the Skyeship Base Station you can take the world´s fastest and first heated 8-passenger lift to Skye Peak (3800 ft). This is the longest gondola in Northamerica (5,6 km). From here you can ski down to Killington. From Killington you can take a triple chair or a quad chair to the Snowdon Mountain (3592 ft). The last lift on this side is the Rams Head Express Quad to the Rams Head Mountain (3610 ft).
From Killington you can take the new K1 Express Gondola to Killington Peak (4241 ft), too. The 8-passenger K1 Express Gondola speeds you to Killington Peak in just 6 minutes. Killington Peak is the highest point reached by aerial lift in New England. If you ski to the right you can ski difficult runs along the Canyon Quad Chair to Killington. If you ski to the left you can choose between easy and difficult runs. You can take difficult runs to the Superstar Express Quad. This lift takes you back to the Skye Peak. From here you can swing down to Snowshed, a paradise for beginners. Here you will find 3 lifts, two double chairs and one high speed quad, and very easy slopes. If you thake Highroad or the North Brook Trail you come to the mid station from the Skye Ship Express Gondola. You take the gondola to the top and than you can ski to Bear Mountain (3295 ft). Here you will find the Outer Limits, the steepest bump run in the East and two quads. From Bear Mountain you can ski to the South Ridge Triple Chair. This lift with a curve takes you up to the Killington Peak. From here you can ski down to every point of the skiresort. At the moment you will find 7 lifts at Pico Mountain (3967 ft), but for the future there is a connection with lifts planned.
