Kappl offers many challenging slopes and the various ski routes also provide variety. There is also a large, unsecured area for freeriders. Kappl is the site of well-known freeride events. The Kappl Aktiv ski school offers freeride courses and there is a freeride checkpoint at the mountain station of the Dias lift. In the spring, conditions are great for firn snow skiing.
