Gastronomy/Eating at the ski resort Jenner – Schönau am Königssee

The ski resort of Jenner has two modern restaurants at the mountain station and middle station of the Jennerbahn lift. High-quality cuisine in a stylish atmosphere has been provided by the Jenneralm since 2019 and the Restaurant Halbzeit since 2018. For a rustic mountain hut atmosphere in the ski resort, there is also the Dr. Hugo-Beck-Haus and the Mitterkaseralm (not open daily). There are two other huts for breaks in the valley. The restaurants and huts serve mainly Bavarian specialities.

At the mountain station of the Jennerbahn lift at 1,800 metres

Diners can enjoy regional specialities in a stylish atmosphere in the Panoramarestaurant Jenneralm. It serves an extensive breakfast selection, hearty lunches as well as tasty snacks and sweet pastries. You can enjoy beautiful views of the mountain scenery from the very large sun terrace. On the top floor, snacks and drinks can be purchased to take away.

Halbzeit

Directly at the middle station of the Jennerbahn lift at 1,200 metres

The Restaurant Halbzeit impresses with its charming bistro atmosphere and large sun terrace. The cosy restaurant serves regional specialities.

Mountain hut tip

Dr.-Hugo-Beck-Haus

Slightly above the middle station at 1,260 metres. An unmarked ski path leads to the hut.

The cosy hut with a sunny terrace and rustic lounge is a popular stop for skiers and ski tourers. The very friendly hosts offer visitors home-made cakes and delicious meals and snacks. The hut is very popular at the weekly ski touring evening.
