Beginners Marmot Basin – Jasper

Beginners can explore almost the entire Marmot Basin ski resort on easy slopes. The lifts can all be taken back down to the valley (with the exception of the Knob Chair). At the base station, there is a people mover next to the Caribou Chalet for the first attempts. The School House triple chairlift goes up from right next to the Caribou Chalet and provides access to a half-dozen very easy slopes. There are even easy slopes leading down to the valley from the upper lifts, i.e. Easy Street, Basin Run, S-Turns and Sleepy Hollow. It can't get better than this for beginners.
