The slope preparation is very good.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Detailed description of the ski resort
From the Icefields Parkway 93 you take the 11 km long road up to the ski resort Marmot Basin. The ticket sales and the guest services are located at the Caribou Chalet (1704m). Here you can buy the tickets and than you drive up to the parking lots, located along the slopes. You can ski or ride down to the high speed quad Eagle Express. Parallel to the quad is the Tranquilizer Chair, operating only on weekends or if there are a lot of people, so you don´t have any lift lines. From the top of the lifts you can ski to the quad Eagle Ridge, triple chair Paradise which takes you up to the Caribou Ridge 2293m where the Outer Limits starts down to the Whistler Creek Trail or you can swing down on intermediate to expert runs or you can cross to the Knob Double Chair. This is the highest lift in this ski area and takes you nearly up to the Marmot Peak. Now you can ski or ride the North Chutes or black diamond and intermediate runs down. From the top station of the quad Eagle Ridge you have all sorts of runs and an easy accecc to the Eagle East bowl. Nearly all runs go down to the Caribou Chalet. If you want to go back to your car, you can take the School-House T-bar up to the parking lots, or you can ski from the top to the lots, but don´t forget the number of the parking lot where you parked your car! It is easy to find if you know the number. You can stop by for a break or lunch at the mid station at the Eagle or Paradise Chalet or at the base station at the Caribou Chalet with nice bar in the first floor.
