Route planner Ischgl/Samnaun – Silvretta Arena

Access Ischgl/Samnaun – Silvretta Arena & on-site parking

The Ischgl/Samnaun ski resort is located in Austria in the Pasnauntal (Tyrol) and in Switzerland in Lower Engadine (Graubünden).

It is about 23 km on the Silvretta Bundesstraße through the Paznauntal from the Pians/Paznaun/Ischgl exit off the Arlberg Schnellstraße. There are three large parking lots (free of charge) as well as parking garages (fee charged) near the lifts in Ischgl. In summer 2015, the Parking Lounge was built by the lift company providing about 150 parking spaces for day guests (fee charged). The parking garage is directly connected to the base station of the 3-S Pardatschgrat lift with a 150 m long tunnel. From there, an escalator takes you directly to the lift entrance. A ski bus terminal was also constructed during this building process.

To get to Samnaun, you take the Reschen exit off the A12 Inntal Autobahn (Oberinntal intersection) and drive about 50 kilometers to the free parking lot at the double-decker cable car lift in Samnaun-Ravaisch. The road curves steeply up the mountain along the last kilometers to Samnaun. By heavy snowfall, you should definitely have snow chains in the car.

Winter Closure

The Pasnauntal is a dead end in the winter. It is not possible to drive to Montafon via the Silvretta Hochalpenstraße in the winter. It is also not possible to drive from Ischgl to Samnaun. You must always drive via Landeck, which is about 80 km by car.
