Ischgl is located in the most snow reliable western corner of Tyrol, the Paznaun, at an altitude of 1,377 m. The main ski resort (90%) is located between 2,000 m and 2,872 m altitude and skiing enjoyment is ensured from the end of November until the beginning of May due to the snow secure northern slope.
The Silvretta Arena connects Ischgl to the Swiss duty-free zone, Samnaun, with its 41 lift and cable car facilities, 3 people movers and approx. 238 km of optimally prepared slopes. Don't forget your passport!
