The Patscherkofel, traditionally known as the "Innsbruck Hausberg" (home mountain), was host for the Olympic Winter Games in January 2012 for the third time. The varied, sunny area offers snow reliable slopes of all difficulty levels and is suitable for all age levels. With the addition of the new snowpark during the 2011/2012 winter season on the Patscher Sonnenplateau (sun plateau) at 1900 m altitude, there is an extra attraction for all enthusiastic freestylers.
