Towns/villages at the ski resort: Igls, Innsbruck, Patsch
The Patscherkofel, traditionally known as the "Innsbruck Hausberg" (home mountain), was host for the Olympic Winter Games in January 2012 for the third time. The varied, sunny area offers snow reliable slopes of all difficulty levels and is suitable for all age levels. With the addition of the new snowpark during the 2011/2012 winter season on the Patscher Sonnenplateau (sun plateau) at 1900 m altitude, there is an extra attraction for all enthusiastic freestylers. The Patscherkofel is not only famous because of its long history in sports, but also for its unique panorama view over Innsbruck, Stubai Valley and the Inn Valley as well as of more than 400 mountain peaks. Enjoy these extraordinary moments in the beach and lounge chairs provided on our large sun terrace at the Panorama - Cafe - Restaurant and make your time on the Innsbrucker Hausberg an unforgettable experience with good Tyrolean cooking and friendly service.
