The ski resort of Ifen is very family friendly. Burmis WinterWelt is an ideal beginners’ area. Up in the ski resort, there is a wide selection of blue runs, for example the popular “Schäfalp-Abfahrt” family slope and the “Ski-Gleitweg Gottesacker”. The Ifen 10-person gondola lift is very comfortable and the 6-person chairlift has a child-safety system. Winter hiking over the Gottesacker is also an experience for the whole family.

Burmis WinterWelt

Children and beginners are ideally catered for in Burmis WinterWelt right next to the base station. Moving carpets, a button lift and flat practice slopes are ideal for first attempts. There is a separate reduced ski pass for the beginners’ area. For refreshments, there is the AlpinLodge Auenhütte. The Skischule Hirschegg offers ski lessons.

Winter hiking on the Ifen over the Gottesacker

The mountain station of the Ifenbahn (Ifen II) lift is the starting point for an impressive winter hike over the Gottesacker Plateau and to the Hahnenköpfle peak. For refreshments, there is the Tafel & Zunder mountain restaurant.
