The slope preparation is satisfactory.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

Detailed description of the ski resort
The ski resort Harper Mountain, owned and operated by Germans, is located only 23 kilometers from Kamloops. From the Daylodge and the parking lots you ca take the Big T-Bar Lift up to intermediate to advanced runs. Parallel to this lift is the rope tow, especially for beginners. To go to the triple chair Huser you have to ski down from the Daylodge. This triple chair has a vertical rise of 425 meters and take you up to the Harper Peak (1520m). From here you can ski or ride all slopes, the intermediate run 1 "Big Bend" and the advanced run 3 "Monashee" back to the triple chair are very recommendable. The easy run 12 "Midway" takes you to the top of the t-bar and than back to the Daylodge. For lunch you can go into the Daylodge and sit at an open fireplace to warm you up. This ski resort is very recommendable for families.
