The slope preparation is very good.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.

nice view to Vancouver and the mountains
no lifts with bubbles, no valley run, flat way from the aerial tramways to the slopes
Detailed description of the ski resort
From North Vancouver you can take one of the largest aerial tramway in North America with a capacity of 100 persons up to the mountain. At the top you have to ski or ride the "Chalet Road" to the slopes. At first you swing down the easy run "The Cut" to the high speed detachable quad Screaming Eagle. From top of Screaming Eagle you can ski down into the Blueberry Bowl via intermediate runs. Here is the lowest point of the ski resort (760m) where you can ski or ride down. To reach the peak you have to take the high speed quad Olympic Express up to 1250m, the highest lifted point at Grouse Mountain. From here you have a very nice view above Vancouver and if the weather is nice, you can see the mountains on Vancouver Island. Advanced skiers can ski the steepest runs, "Purgatory" and "Devil´s Advocate" down into the Blueberry Bowl. There are especially for beginners 2 rope tows near the skyride station. There is no valley run, so you have to take one of the aerial tramways back to the valley at the end of the day. The ski resort is nearly every day open for nightskiing and then you have a very nice view above the lights from Vancouver. To reach the aerial tramway you have to take a short rope tow or just walk a few steps to the station. For a break, lunch or dinner you can visit only the restaurant at the top of the aerial tramways.
