Beginner-friendly rating Val Gardena (Gröden)

Test result4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Beginners Val Gardena (Gröden)

There are ski schools in all the villages (St. Christina/S. Cristina, St. Ulrich/Ortisei, Wolkenstein/Selva Gardena) and on Monte Pana. Plenty of practice lifts are provided in Selva Gardena and on Monte Pana, above St. Cristina. There are also two practice lifts in Ortisei and one in St. Cristina. There are some wide, easy slopes on Plan de Gralba. However, if you take the gondola lifts up the mountain, you will immediately need to tackle some intermediate runs. Options for beginners are therefore limited to the practice lifts in the valley and at Plan de Gralba.

Information for beginners

  • Wide slopes
