New, longer Furdenan ski lift + snowpark

The Furdenan ski lift in Ortisei/Oltretorrente will be replaced by a new and slightly longer ski lift. This will make it even easier and more convenient to ski from Furdenan to the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car over the linking slope. At the same time, children and teenagers can look forward to a new snowpark, also in the Furdenan area.

New “Piz Seteur” 10-person lift

Consisting of two sections, the gondola lift will bring maximum quality to Val Gardena in many respects. The cabins are considerably more spacious and also have a larger entrance area. New technical feature: the slower speed of 65 seconds in stations and 6 open cabins will allow more time for safe and stress-free boarding

Gran Paradiso in Val Gardena - First 8-person chairlift with heated seats in Italy

Once again this winter, Val Gardena is proving that it is one of the most modern ski areas in the Alps and a pioneer in many areas. In the 2016/2017 winter season, the new “Gran Paradiso” 8-person chairlift on Piz Sella in the community of Selva Gardena will replace the existing lift. It is the first 8-person chairlift with heated seats in Italy! But this modern lift has even more to offer. The slightly longer line of the new chairlift will, from this winter, also provide a direct connection to the Sellaronda (anti-clockwise direction - green), the Sella Pass and, consequently, to the famous and mystical "Stone City” (Cittá Dei Sassi). The new chairlift is also a real eye-catcher and absolutely unique in its class. Instead of the traditional grey/transparent weather-protection covers, the Piz de Sella Aktiengesellschaft lift operator has opted for the striking shade of blue. The covers will bring extra comfort for winter sports enthusiasts.
