Eiger Express - 28pers. Tricable ropeway 1/22

All lifts/cable cars Kleine Scheidegg/Männlichen – Grindelwald/Wengen

From the 2020/21 season, from Grindelwald Terminal you can take either the Eiger Express (tri-cable gondola lift) directly up to the Eiger Glacier or the Männlichenbahn (10-person gondola lift) up to the Männlichen. These two lifts are also referred to as a ‘V’ cableway, as they link the two areas of the ski resort in a V shape directly from Grindelwald Terminal. This has put an end to queues and long travel times. You can also take the cog railway from Grindelwald Grund to the Kleine Scheidegg. From Lauterbrunnen, the cog railway goes up to the Kleine Scheidegg via Wengen. It is a good idea to note the departure times of the cog railway or pick up a schedule as the trains run just once every 30 minutes. In the actual ski resort, most of the lifts serving the slopes and runs are modern 4-person and 6-person chairlifts, some with weather-protection covers. Practice lifts in Wengen, on the Kleine Scheidegg and on the Männlichen complete the lift facilities for beginners and children. The Jungfraubahn lift runs from the Kleine Scheidegg and Eiger Glacier via the Eiger and Mönch up to the Jungfraujoch and the highest train station in Europe at 3,454 metres. The train covers a distance of 9.34 kilometres and almost 1,400 metres of elevation. An extra ticket is required for the trip up to the Jungfraujoch. This is not included in the ski pass.
