It is the goal of the Grandvalira operating company to preserve the environment and to minimize the effects of the lifts on the environment. Therefore, flora and wildlife are protected, garbage and water usage is minimized, guests are informed and the entire ecosystem is monitored.

• No direct train connection
  In France, the nearest train stations are L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre and La Tour de Carol. Buses travel from here to the resort. From the Spanish side, there are daily bus connections from the AV train stations (high speed train) Lleida, Viatges Montmantell and Alsina-Graells.

• Andorra has a network of intercity buses which connects the communities and the larger cities. Buses travel from Andorra la Vella to Encamp, Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, for example.
