Slope offering, variety of runs
Glungezer offers mainly intermediate runs. There are some deep snow variations on the Schartenkogel and one difficult run. The easy slopes lead from the middle station down to the valley. You can ski a total of 15 km in one run from the Schartenkogel down to the valley.

Glungezer is reliant upon natural snow. Due to the altitude, there is always enough snow and the runs to the middle station are able to be skied. It is only possible to ski down to the valley when enough snow falls. Two snow cannons are available when required.

The slope preparation is very good.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
The ski resort is only 6 km from the expressway exit in the Inn Valley. There are sufficient, free parking spaces at the valley station.

Environmentally friendly ski operation
They practice soft winter tourism on the Glungezer. There is no mass operation here. They rely upon natural snow. The two snow cannons are only used in emergencies.

The staff is always friendly. You receive warm blankets during the ascent with the chair lift. At the t-bars, you are almost always assisted while boarding.

The rustic huts and restaurants on the Glungezer offer typical Tyrolean specialties. There is also the Glungezer Huette that is located at 2,677 m and is only accessible for ski tourers.

Tulfein AlmNear the mountain station of the Glungezer II t-bar lift at 2,035 m.Rustic and cozy hut in the middle of the ski resort with homemade specialties. The homemade Zirbenschnaps (pine spirits) are to be recommended. The hut is also well-loved by ski tourers and is therefore open until night.
It is generally more calm on the Glungezer. There is an Après-Ski umbrella bar at the middle station. Usually, guests enjoy sitting together in the huts.

Glungezer is known as a favourably priced family ski resort in Austria. You can enjoy your ski day here without any stress. The young guests will find their territory at the middle station.

Beginners can find easy runs at the practice area near the middle station. The Halsmarter t-bar and the associated run are ideal for beginners. When there is enough snow, there is also an easy groomed run down to the valley. The slopes going up from the middle station are reserved for practiced skiers.

GlungezerParksThe new Glungezer Parks are ultimate snowparks for freeriders and snowboarders. Three of these are located at the Schartenkogel lift with a gorgeous view of Innsbruck. The beginner park is located at the Halsmarter middle station.
