Town/village at the ski resort: Tulfes
The sport of skiing is especially fun in the natural snow ski resort of Glungezer. Families particularly appreciate the small lifts where coziness is still a priority and vacationers can enjoy the mountain experience without crowded slopes. It takes no more than 15 minutes from any of the holiday villages in the Hall-Wattens region to the nearest ski slopes. The home mountain of Glungezer offers one of the longest slopes in Tyrol with its 15 km long valley run. Skiers and snowboarders can explore a total of over 23 km of slopes ranging from 950 to 2304 metres elevation until late spring. Rustic huts spoil guests with Tyrolean cuisine and help to warm finger and toes. Touring skiers will experience the high Alpine flair during their secure ascent and can regain their strength while enjoying dumplings or soup before their trip back down the mountain.
