The Schlick 2000 ski resort can be accessed from Innsbruck using public transport. A very large and free ski bus network in the Stubai Valley and a train connection in Fulpmes make it very easy to travel to the ski resort without a car. Reforestation areas and protected forest areas which are off-limits for skiers are effectively protected with fences. The ski huts in the ski resort use mainly regional produce.

  From Innsbruck main train station, you can take the Stubai Valley train to Fulpmes. A bus then takes you to the Kreuzjochbahn lift.
