Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Spieljoch – Fügen

The Ziller Valley, and in particular Spieljoch, is making major investments in free public transport and local mobility without cars. So you can simply leave your car parked after you arrive or travel here on public transport. Protected areas for wildlife are closed off with fences and there is a photovoltaic system at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn Geols lift. A charging point for electric vehicles has been installed at the base station in Fügen.

    The Zillertalbahn train stops at the station of Fügen, around 1 kilometre from the ski resort. There is a direct ski bus connection.

  • Free ski buses run from all villages in the first holiday region in the Ziller Valley to the base station of the Spieljochbahn lift and back. The journey from the base station of the Panoramabahn Geols lift to Hochfügen takes 8 minutes. The ski bus runs very frequently throughout the day.
