The review Dubai/Sandboarding was created by Skiresort.info, the world’s largest test portal for ski resorts.
A run on the sand dune is a maximum of 200m long. There are naturally a unlimited number of sand dunes where you can sandboard, but these must be ascended by foot.

There is no snow there. You board on pure desert sand.
Worth knowing
- No artificial snow-making
- The valley run is always open when ski resort is open; without the valley run, ski operation is not possible.
The slopes are barely or not prepared at all in the ski resort.
The sand dunes are not groomed
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
You are picked up by Jeeps at your hotel and then driven comfortably into the desert. The rides takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the distance and the location of your hotel.

There are no beginner slopes, but sliding on the sand is easy to learn so it is also fun for beginners.
