Difficult runs and endless powder slopes promise lots of thrills for experts and freeriders. Against an impressive backdrop, freeriders’ dreams can come true in the ski resort of Diavolezza/Lagalb. Two spectacular runs cater to the highest level. With a gradient of 86%, the Minor is the steepest slope in Graubünden/Grisons. The 10 kilometre ski route to Morteratsch is the longest secured glacier run in Switzerland. It takes around 45 minutes to complete and passes through a wilderness of snow and ice, with a view of Piz Bernina (4,049 m) and Piz Palü (3,900 m). The Rhätische Bahn train takes you from Morteratsch back to the cable car base stations. In spring, it is also possible to ski the unsecured natural slope from Lagalb to La Rosa.
