Towns/villages at the ski resort: Sils, Silvaplana, St. Moritz-Bad, St. Moritz-Dorf, Surlej
The Corvatsch ski resort is located between 1800 and 3303 m elevation and features the highest mountain station in the Eastern Alps. Corvatsch belongs to the mountains of the Bernina Group and is 6 km south of St. Moritz in the Upper Engadine region.
The big cable car is impressive in itself, gliding from Surlej up to the mid-mountain station in just seven minutes. More impressive still is the spectacular mountain panorama that greets you at the end of the next leg of the ride, when you step out of the cabin at the highest summit station in the Eastern Alps at an altitude of 3,303 m. And it won't be just the enthusiasm that takes your breath away as you swoop down the demanding but exciting 9 km descent from the Corvatsch via Hahnensee directly to St. Moritz-Bad or take on the longest floodlit run in Switzerland.
Tip: the 9 km long Hahnensee run leads from Corvatsch, via the Hahnensee and directly to St. Moritz.
