Access Coronet Peak & on-site parking

The ski resort of Coronet Peak is located on New Zealand’s South Island. It is the local mountain of Queenstown, 16 kilometres away. The journey time is around 20 minutes. From Arthurs Point, you drive for around 8 kilometres on partially tarmacked mountain road up to the car parks at the ski resort. The car parks are located below the base station and you need to walk for a short distance. If you park a little further away, you can use the free shuttle bus. This shuttle runs continuously throughout the day between the signposted collection points and the base station building. From the car parks at the Greengates Express, you can go straight onto the slopes. Carrying snowchains in the car is strongly recommended.
